To rescue her captured mother, the mermaid Ella disguises herself as a human and infiltrates a research institute for ten years, eventually becoming Director Adam’s assistant. After enduring brutal tests and stealing access credentials, she discovers on her coming-of-age night that Adam has killed her mother. In despair, Ella awakens her sea-god bloodline, destroys the institute with sonic waves and ocean tides, exposes its crimes, avenges her mother, and returns to the deep sea with her ashes.
