As a child, Rita was deemed to bring misfortune to her mother and was ordered by her grandfather to be abandoned in the wilderness. By chance, she was adopted by a driver named Grayson. Years later, when Grayson was diagnosed with cancer, Rita had to go to her grandfather's house to ask for money to pay for Grayson's treatment. However, her grandfather coldly refused and even imprisoned her to prevent her from seeing her mother, causing Rita to miss her last chance to say goodbye to Grayson.
