The Empress’s Comeback

Empress of Yvoria, Ashlyn Shaw, gained weight after giving birth, which caused the emperor and her son to despise her. Consort Celine humiliated Ashlyn and had her strangled to death. A modern-day medical school graduate suddenly found herself in Ashlyn’s body. After losing weight, Ashlyn stunned the court with her beauty during a banquet. She presented modern gifts and treated the former emperor’s illness. During a competition, Ashlyn defeated the enemy crown prince and exposed corrupt officials, earning the people’s admiration. The emperor fell in love with her and wants to win her back. But in the end, Ashlyn left the palace and embraced a life beyond the confines of the imperial court.
